Grateful to god for my new life was hard work but the results of the 12 steps is a miracles love and hugs one day at a time
@andy18401 No, I correct this-it is an “everybody for himself who helps himself to what you have and what they can get out of you!” AA is a crock of horseshit!
@andy18401 I disagree… there is a reason Step 12 is 12…. we need to fix myself before helping others… it is like on an airplane… if pressure is lost and an oxygen mask drops… we put the mask on ourselves first before helping others…
its NOT a “self-help” program, far from it………….
it is a “get-out-of-your-self-and-help-others program.

@jd198656 Is being thrown down flights of stairs “spoiling”? Is being denied food for days at a time as a “punishment” what you consider “spoiling”? Is being shot at by cops equal to being spoiled? Is being stabbed like being spoiled? Is 4 years of prison a “spoiling” experience? I quit a serious heroin habit after over a decade, and I kicked at home, and I have been clean over 4 years without attending a single meeting. As the old adage goes, “if I can do it, anyone can”.
@jd198656 I made no disparaging remarks about this video when I stated what works for me. If you can’t handle others sharing their experiences, you can’t do a damned thing about it anyway, so get used to it.

powerful I love the description of how the steps work. I really like the misunderstanding of the haters. They take good advise and set it on fire. Do the steps or die. Die how? Spiritual? Morally? Mentelly? Phyically? Sure but the others come first and if you allow it to get that far then the last phyical. I guess if you are looking at the glass is it half empty or half full? I am guessing that you would say half empty
