@SAsgarters thats not a bad idea…but it wont happen for years they hated each other. Or never trusted each other fully for this kind of agreement. You know the last time Russia listen to them and turn into full democracy.. they humiliated Russia.. attacking Russian allies from around the world, and harass many other nations because Russia was poor and bankrupted. That is not nice at all… i remember those days when Russia was a laughingstock of the world.

It’s just optic illusion,seems slow but missile covers a lot of ground per second as other user wrote.It travels faster than any chopper,plane,drone,cruise missile and this system in radius of 30km takes them all out.Tor-M2 is even more effective.To make long story short-no one in the World has similar system if we take into consideration firepower,maneuverability,maintenance,survivability,combat effectiveness.

@SovietWarrior Well many don’t realize the superiority of Soviet/Russian SAM systems (to complement a few years’ lag in aircraft technology), and how much the whole Army is geared to overcome in a major war. IMO no doctrines compare to Deep Battle in an all-out war.
But the US does have reason for such viewpoints, being the only current superpower, and until recently had most of the world turn around it in so many ways. Even today it is major. Rising/rerising powers have to fit themselves in.
