@127miles DMT is often used for psycho/spiritual effects. However, it does not address opiate withdrawal. I have heard good things about it though, especially when consumed in Ayahuasca.

  2. 127miles says:

or just do DMT, it seems better than ibogane

I was going to shoot myself or try getting off w/ a meth clinic- I chose the clinic-been there eight years in a couple of weeks and have gotten off the needle-it took my opiate tolerance up im so saturated w/ this evil shit-im glad im off the needle but have a larger tolerance for opiates w/methadone-ive not lived while on it-ibogaine will work i believe if I can substitute a shorter acting opiate(shorter half life )than methadone like oxy or heroin and live after the treatment the right way

@SlowerEqualsBetter In my opinion the trip is not that big of a deal. Ibogaine mainly puts you into a profound state of critical thinking and analysis. The hallucinogenic component is sort of exaggerated, but some do report intense hallucinations. For me Ibogaine reveals to me points of view and ways of looking at things that I never had considered. It’s feels like it’s being downloaded from somewhere else. In this sense I feel like I am exposed to a higher intelligence. Not scary at all.

  11. SlowerEqualsBetter says:

yeah but you have to trip on a powerful hallucinogen that can be as horrifying as a bad acid trip for 24 hours or more? i’d rather just kick cold turkey and be dope sick for a couple weeks. I understand that that is the reason why most addicts can’t stop, fear of withdrawal, but I got so used to being dopesick on the days i wasn’t able to cop dope that cold turkey sounds better to me than thinking i am in hell with demons coming after me. i’m clean now, it didn’t take frying balls.

  12. helpforaddiction says:

@helpforaddiction I do believe that more addicts would find ibogaine helpful on some level than completely useless. The degree it helps depends on the individual and their expectations. Some expect to be cured which may be unrealistic depending on what a person’s opinion of a cure is. Addiction is a very subjective illness. Unlike cancer which can actually be seen under a microscope, addiction is a behavioral disorder that has a medical component that is far from understood.

  13. helpforaddiction says:

@helpforaddiction sobriety seem like an eternally long climb up an impossibly tall mountain. For me personally, Ibogaine took me from a place where I felt like the challenge to me was life and not the addiction. In a way, that makes things harder. By focusing all of my energy on ‘not using’, I was too overwhelmed to focus on relationships, staying in shape, or other important things in life. It is ultimately the person who fails if they relapse regardless of whether they take ibogaine.

  14. helpforaddiction says:

@helpforaddiction addicted usually have a lot of work to do in order to get their life back on track. This will require a lot of initiative regardless of whether or not a person has taken ibogaine. The benefit of ibogaine is that in many cases it can eliminate many of the symptoms of the illness so that a person can focus their mind more on getting their life back on track, and less on not using. Resisting the urge to use drugs takes a lot of mental energy. It can be exhausting and make….

  15. helpforaddiction says:

@helpforaddiction Finally, I’d like to say that addiction is primarily a medical problem. This medical problem, or mental illness if you prefer, results in certain sorts of behavior. The behavior is not the illness, but merely result of the illness. The addiction is the mental state itself or the way the person feels. The effects of ibogaine can be unbelievably helpful in addressing these feelings by either completely eliminating them, or minimizing them greatly. However, people that are……

  16. helpforaddiction says:

@helpforaddiction I am sorry to hear about your friends. All I am trying to do is raise awareness about Ibogaine because I believe it is an unbelievably helpful tool for helping addicts. There is no doubt that the relapse rate is high. However, I feel that this is mainly because the effects of a single dose fade within weeks or months and a person can find themselves experiencing a lot of difficulty dealing with their addiction as time fades. Boosters can be used to help mitigate their symptoms.

  17. helpforaddiction says:

@evanSucks Most people should use boosters. Possibly indefinitely. Ibogaine does not cure addiction. Addiction is not well understood. It is a multi-faceted illness that is characterized by self destructive behavior that can merely be observed. The drug can produce dramatic effects that can minimize many of the most dominant psychological symptoms that come along with addiction. Usually these effects are temporary which is why I feel boosters are more or less mandatory for most.

  18. evanSucks says:

ok first of all ibogaine is ish and its way too easy to start using again after doing the full treatment in mexico, i had multiple friends take a month down there and they’re junkies to this day. second of all, people only get sober when they’re ready. if thinking about getting high doesnt disgust you or put a rotten feeling in your stomach, you’ll get fucking high. ive been clean for a while now and the only thing that has worked was realizing how sad i get when im high. sobriety is happiness .

@Georgie2500 Hi,are you in the uk,or abroad.I would love help to get clean.

  20. Georgie2500 says:

Hey everyone, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which cost a lot per month just to stay clean. I’ve since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. I am willing to help anybody out who wants to get clean but doesn’t have the funds to do it. Msg me if interested

I found the CURE for addiction and I have proof for this claim. Click on my name and witness Powerful Stories of Freedom. I personally know and have witnessed over 100 addicts who have found True and Lasting FREEDOM after being enslaved by their addictions for so long. I have been through many programs for my addiction, but have never found so much Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love than I have in the program I am in now. And the people I know who have given their stories are experiencing the same!

  22. CrunkinLiLy says:

@helpforaddiction If you’re trying to appeal to someone who is going through withdrawals you don’t really want obnoxious music. I don’t enjoy being unhappy, I just am. So is Ibogaine like methadone?

  23. helpforaddiction says:

@CrunkinLiLy Why don’t you like Happy Music? Do you like being unhappy? What were you planning on punching? A person? I know some people I’d like to have punched. Do you think we could get together and I could play this music and then have you punch someone I select?

  24. CrunkinLiLy says:

The happy music pissed my the fuck off!! I was ready to punch something. But I muted it. So does Ibogaine work like methadone or suboxone? How do I get it?
