In France where people start drinking wine with their meals from early childhood their is less alcoholism or problem drinking. Germany with it’s wonderfull beer festivals has less of a drinking culture and not so many alcoholics. The country I am comparing France and Germany to is Britain, where I live. However, this hasn’t happened in the year since the law was changed. Our drinking problems have just got worse. It seems to be a problem with the British mentality towards alcohol.
