“Back Bay” is an Acoustic-Rock duo from Bay Village, Ohio. We perform “unplugged” versions of our favorite 60s-70s music from Beatles, Eagles, Spirit, Dave Mason, Dan Fogelberg, and Neal Young among others. We also like to thrown in an occasional Back Bay original such as the song you are listening to here, entitled “Why?”. It’s a song that we wrote this year (2008) concerning our love and concern for a dear friend who has sacrificed the best that love and life have to offer on the alter of her addiction to alcohol ![]()

Amedeo Clemente Modigliani (July 12, 1884 — January 24, 1920) was an Italian artist who worked mainly in France. Primarily a figurative artist, he became known for paintings and sculptures in a modern style characterized by mask-like faces and elongation of form. He died in Paris of tubercular meningitis, exacerbated by poverty, overwork, and addiction to alcohol and narcotics.

I love discovering new artists, especially when they are of this style. I really love this song and would like to purchase it as well as hear more of your art. Just really love it!
